When Federico Albanese was our guest at Piano-Schulz in Wiesbaden in October 2025, exactly such an evening unfolded. His music filled our house with a quiet, immediate force. There was no great distance between pianist and audience – only closeness, attention and that rare feeling of being entirely with the music for a moment.
Federico Albanese is one of those artists whose music opens up spaces. His compositions combine piano, electronic timbres and cinematic breadth into a distinctive language of their own. Without words, they speak of memories, of setting out, of melancholy and hope. They create images – and at the same time leave room for your own thoughts.
The concert evening at Piano-Schulz has grown into a partnership that we are delighted about. Since January 2026, Federico Albanese has been working on his current album on a Gebr. Schulz G70. That an artist with such a personal and subtle musical language has chosen our instrument for this creative process means a great deal to us.
